MISSION
The ChristoPress Institute of Biblical Research Studies and Theological Education’s mission is to pursue the Institute’s goals by means of teaching, learning, research, professional, publications, workshops, seminars, and conferences for effective ministry and service.
It is also called six areas of commitment:
- Teaching: CIBREST provides high-quality instruction, guidance, discipleship and mentorship in Biblical Christian studies, such as theology, biblical Christian education, theoretical theology, and related fields (Psalm 119:66; Matthew 28:19-20; 2 Timothy 2:2)
- Learning: CIBREST fosters a learning environment that encourages students to explore, discover, and grow in their understanding of biblical truths (Proverbs 1:7; Philippians 4:8-9)
- Research: CIBREST conducts original research, promotes scholarly inquiry, and advances knowledge in Biblical Christian studies, such as theology, biblical Christian education, theoretical theology, and related fields (Acts 17:11; 2 Timothy 2:15). Biblical research holds the torch of truth
- Professional development: CIBREST focuses on equipping students, scholars, and ministry professionals with the skills, knowledge, and character necessary for effective service and leadership (Ephesians 4:11-12, 13-16; 1 Timothy 4:7-8)
- Publications: Researchers must write a clear and concise report, sharing their findings with relevant audiences. The Bible has encouraged us to share our light since we are the light of the world (Matt 5:14-15) – share this light (i.e., faith, testimony, and good works) with others, rather than hiding it.
- Workshops, Seminars, and Conferences
These six areas provide a solid foundation for the Institute's mission and activities.

FOUR CARDINAL DOCTRINES OF CIBREST
There are four Fundamental Principles that guide our research in this Institute:
SOLA SCRIPTURA:
The Bible alone is the Holy Spirit inspired divine revelation and the final word in the matter of doctrine and practice (2Tim 3:16)
SOLA FIDE:
Faith alone is the means of obtaining justification (Rom 3: 28, 30; 5:1; Gal 2:16; 3:11, 24; cf. James 2: 19-26)
SOLA GRATIA:
Grace alone is the means of salvation, and works play no role in it (Eph.2:5, 8)
SOLA CHRISTUS:
Christ alone is the Saviour, the only Mediator between God and man (Matt 1:21; Lk.2:11; John 4:42; Acts 5:31; 13:23; Eph 5:23; Phil 3:20; 1Tim 1:1; 2:3; 4:10; 2Tim 1:10; Titus 1:3, 4; 2:10,13; 3:4, 6; 2Peter 1:11: 2: 20; 3:2,18; 1John 4:14; 1:25
